The Turbo Centre Twyford Stages 19th April 2009

A single venue stage rally organised and run by Mid-Derbyshire Motor Club, to be held at Twyford Wood, near Grantham. It is based on an old WW2 airfield consisting of solid and broken concrete runways and perimeter roads through trees.

Hi all,  Due to extensive logging work some damage has been caused to the tracks around twyford and there is a lot of mud and debris on the tracks too, so it is with great regret that we are going to have to postpone the event until later on in the year.
we are currently in talks with the forestry commission to do some repair work to the venue, as between ourselves and Sheffield we have been improving the venue each year so hopefully we can put on an exciting event on in the future

To the organisers of the Twyford Stages----well done a splendid, well run event, thank you.
A special thank you to the 3 crews that stopped to lend us fire extinguishers, the Marshals and recovery crew who all came to our aid. If it would be possible to pass on our thanks when the results our sent out we would be grateful.

Just a very quick email to pass on our sincere thanks for a super rally!
Richard, myself and the Spoox Motosrsport Team had a great day out; great shame about having to cancel the stage 7 due to the Scuby fire but it was the best thing to do and as long as the crew are all okay, that is all that matters.
Please also pass on our thanks to the rest of your team and club - super event. Well done.
And we were well chuffed with 9th o/a and 2nd in class....not too bad for the 2nd ever stage rally!
