Round 1
Firstly I would like to thank all those who
marshalled for us. We were flooded with marshals, which I'm led
to believe is rare . So thanks to all of you! Although Dale
Winton impressions are not mandatory!

Ricky & Ingo ------------------busted hub carrier (But made it to
MC2)
The route was cleaned by 3 crews with the decider coming down to
engine size. Richard Holdsworth took P1 with 1580cc's, Glyn took
second with 2000cc, finally Wayne took 3rd with a 1900 turbo
diesel. Mark and Juliette would have cleaned the route, but
missed a secret check right at the end gaining a 5 minute
penalty. Gem & Craig however had clutch failure just before NTC2
but managed to cruise round the course with a minimal drop in
time of 8 mins with 2 code boards missing, giving an overall
penalty of 18 mins. Chris and Dennis missed a couple of boards
and dropped a little time resulting in a respectable
effort (for what I believe is their first 12 car?). Matt & Kane
missed the last control and gaining them a fail and dropping them
to the bottom of the table, well almost. Ricky's unlucky streak
hasn't seemed to have ended, and about half way through the route
the hub carrier gave way, although thanks to Ingo's magic touch
(or bodge) they limped back to MC2 to get a finish albeit last.
Thanks to all the Competitors & Marshals. hope to see you out in
the future!
